There are so many scanners out there that it is difficult to know which to choose. We have selected this clever little scanner specifically for its ease of use and the quality of image it produces for the very best price. Kenro are long established and have a reputation for quality, reliable and good value products.

This is a scanner for 35mm negatives and slides.

We think

What a brilliant piece of kit! We love this one. It is super simple to operate. It's really fast. It's tiny!  And the scanning doesn't require connection to a computer as it can save the files to a memory card.

If you wish to scan and share your 35mm photos on social media fast, without fuss, with good image quality, and without breaking the bank, this is the perfect tool for you. In fact, it has found its place on our desk.

It's also perfect for converting those old family archives to digital photos. Slides, 35mm negatives (and similar formats) and even super 8 film! The simple and fast operation means you can convert generations worth of precious family photos easily and rapidly. It is so simple to use that even the most technophobe member of your family will be able to digitalise your precious negatives.

Downsides? We couldn't find one. It performs exactly as we expected it to. Be aware this model doesn't scan 120 format film or actual photo prints.

It will not replace a flatbed scanner for finished professional applications of course, but is of such quality it is perfect for all your social media needs and family snapshots, and good enough to use for professionals wishing to "scan" fast through negatives or slides to make quick selections.

Technically, we found that this isn't a true scanner but a fixed digital camera.  Many sources are in agreement that a decent digital photo of a negative, shot by transparency, can be as good as some scanners can produce. This little piece of kit certainly delivers just what is required, simply and cost effectively.
